Orientation and Mobility Instructor
New Mexico School f/t Blind and Visually Impaired
Albuquerque, NM
Duties: The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Early Childhood Program located at 230 Truman NE, Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Orientation and Mobility Specialist. They will provide services to enable students aged 3-5 to travel safely and efficiently in their home, school and community.
Qualifications: BA or higher in O&M and current certification in O&M from ACVREP required, and eligibility for O&M certification from NMPED. Position open until filled.
Additional Information: Offers of employment are contingent upon verification of individual’s eligibility for employment in the US, clearance of a criminal records check, and proof that the person is free of tuberculosis in a transmissible form.
