Low Vision Services Provider
NM School f/t Blind & Visually Impaired

Duties: New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Outreach Services Department, is currently recruiting for the position of Low Vision Services Provider. The Low Vision Services Provider will be responsible for organizing and managing the NMSBVI-Access to Learning Low Vision Clinics throughout the state of New Mexico as well as grant writing to support the clinic. This position requires decisions regarding educational programming for children with visual impairments to be made and a Teacher of the Visually Impaired is preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and/or certification in Orientation and Mobility is preferred.
Additional Information: This position requires travel, assessment, consultation services, and some direct service to students with visual impairments in their community and home schools. Open until filled.
