Speech Language Pathologist
South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind
Spartanburg, SC
Duties: Evaluate, plan and provide a program of Speech-Language, Communication Therapy and Consultation to Deaf, Blind, and/or Multihandicapped students, within individual group, co-treatment, or in class modes of delivery alignment with ADEPT and Medicaid requirements. Conduct initial Speech-Language evaluations including yearly re-assessments on those students assigned to this caseload and make appropriate recommendations according to student's individual communication need.
Qualifications: Requires Master's Degree in Communication Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology). Also requires SC Teacher Certificate in Speech Correction and prior experience in providing speech-language therapy to special needs students in a clinical or school setting. SCPI Minimum Entry Level: None; SCPI Goal Skill Level: Intermediate Plus
