Special Education Clinical Lecturer: 10-Month, Non-Tenure Position

Duties: The person who fills this position will serve as liaison between special education faculty and public schools. Working closely with the Field Placement Office, this person will provide oversight and coordination of field placements for special education majors. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating seminars and advancing program goals by working closely with and under the guidance of the faculty in special education.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are a master’s degree and 3 years of P-12 classroom experience. Preference is given to those with a doctorate, expertise in mild disabilities, fluency with evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices (e.g. explicit instruction, progress monitoring, functional behavior assessment), supervisory experiences, and/or higher education teaching experience.
